ORDERS
Your order becomes binding as soon as we have accepted it. All orders are subject to the “availability” detailed on the individual Product pages within this Website.
You are responsible for checking and confirming that all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements.
Please note all deposits, including for commissioned pieces such as bespoke creations and heirloom resettings, are non refundable and non exchangeable unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.
TERMS OF SALE
Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. Only adults (persons aged 18 and over) are entitled to enter into legally binding contracts and as a result are the only people entitled to transact through this site. Any other individuals who are unable to perform legally binding contracts are prohibited from ordering goods using this site. If you do not qualify, do not use this site.
After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we reserve the right not to accept an order if we see fit, in which case the amount paid will be refunded in full via the original means of payment. This process also applies where orders are placed by telephone or other Distance Sales.
PRICES
Prices are correct at the time of publication. From time to time, prices will change in relation to material costs such as the gold price. We reserve the right to review prices at any time.
Orders will be processed at our published prices. In the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. All quotes provided by Alexandra Cordon are stated in British Pounds Sterling £GBP and are valid for 14 calendar days, after which a revised quote can be provided on request.
PAYMENT METHODS
You may pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal and Shop Pay. You confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
DELIVERY
We currently only ship within the UK. We hope this will change as the business grows. Should you have an enquiry regarding purchasing from outside the UK, please contact gemma@alexandracordon.com
Products will be sent using Royal Mail and must be signed for by an adult on delivery. If any damage to the package is identified, it must be reported to us immediately.
Any sales that are transacted in the UK (including collecting your jewels from our address) will incur UK VAT. This is already included in the published price.
UNIQUE PRODUCT FEATURES
Each piece of Alexandra Cordon jewellery is made by hand in Central London, using organic, recycled, reclaimed or ethically sourced materials. This means each piece is unique, so small variations will occur in the creation process.
The final product may vary slightly from the online photograph. For example, metal colours may vary slightly, stones and pearls may have slightly different tones or lustre, and sizes are accurate within reason. While we go to great lengths to ensure this is not the case, it is part and parcel of buying handmade products, and buying online where variations in monitor, browser or software calibrations on your browsing device (mobile/computer) may affect the colour of items shown digitally.
If you would like to see more photos of a piece before purchasing, please do get in touch.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We hope that you love your purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied, we are happy to offer an exchange or credit note within 30 days of purchase. Alternatively, we will refund a sale made through this website if it is returned to us unworn, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging within 14 working days of your receipt of the order.
Our bespoke process involves many checks to ensure you are happy before we commence making. Pieces that are commissioned, custom or bespoke are non-refundable unless they are structurally faulty.
All sales are final for any items purchased at a discounted rate and no exchanges or refunds will be made on discounted items.
To return an online purchase, please contact gemma@alexandracordon.com for further details. Please include your order number in the email.
Alexandra Cordon does not accept any responsibility for items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. These responsibilities are those of the customer. We recommend that UK items be sent by insured special delivery, and international items be sent using a secure and swift fully tracked service.
Please note that the cost of shipping is not refundable. In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method by which you paid.
WARRANTY
All Alexandra Cordon jewellery is hand crafted in London’s Hatton Garden district, and can be repaired in the event of damage. Manufacturer's defects are covered up to 12 months from the date of purchase. This does not account for general wear and tear, or deliberate or accidental damage, and we are not responsible for any loss that occurs.
If you feel your piece has a structural fault, please return it to us for a full inspection. Should an issue be determined to be a manufacturing fault within the first 12 months after purchase, Alexandra Cordon will repair the piece without charge. If pieces are misshapen or show signs of damage from general wear and tear or improper care, these repairs will be quoted on a case-by-case basis regardless of age.
The wearer is responsible for the aftercare of their purchase. Please read the care guidelines online and in the box.
Any work carried out on Alexandra Cordon jewellery by another jeweller will void the warranty.
